Well, one thing is CERTAIN: If you are not a U.S. citizen or legal resident (and the ability of POTUS to screw non-citizen green card holders is an unanswered question), you will not get ANY protection from the SCOTUS if Stephen Miller and ICE want to disappear you and send you away forever.

In the military, we would say “Glory be with General Saint Mattis.” The man is a force, and a force of good. He clearly put two things before the mission - his troops and his country. Unlike our current commander in chief, what he has to say holds weight.

In the military, we would say “Glory be with General Saint Mattis.” The man is a force, and a force of good. He clearly put two things before the mission - his troops and his country. Unlike our current commander in chief, what he has to say holds weight.
I respect the man for standing up and leaving. I just wish he would have been honest in his official statement for leaving. My assumption is he was threatened with the same punitive actions levied against those in uniform who dared to say a word about CK. Maybe he’ll speak when safe.

I’d like to say this is total nonsense. But I saw Jan 6. I’ve watched live streams of LA. I’ve seen ICE roll ups. And like frogs in a pot of water, the heat’s only going to get worse as we’re slowly brought to a boil. Slowly, so the American people are desensitized to the violence.

The only good takeaway was the lack of support from the crowd of military leadership. I’ve been amongst the ranks. Don’t let anyone fool you. They weren’t staying silent to maintain military bearing. They were sending a message loud and clear.
