Yeah. I feel very conflicted. Some potential silver linings are that hopefully it will inspire people to learn about why trade is good and how we benefit from our economic position in the world, and this seems to be hurting Trump more than his attacks on immigrants and democracy.

Yeah, it’s theoretically possible that just the 25% foreign auto tariff alone would benefit Michigan autoworkers (and ONLY them) more than it would hurt, but the whole tariff package and trade war isn’t good for anyone.
