And just like that, all of the Eagles-themed desserts left at the grocery store are magically transformed into St. Patrick’s Day desserts. Love it.

Good morning! You woke up in the timeline where the Eagles won the Super Bowl and Kendrick Lamar gave us the halftime show we absolutely wanted and needed. It’s a good day. 🤩

Thank you, Dr. H. I really needed this today.

We knew when he was re-elected that it was going to be bad. It wasn’t a matter of if, but of how much. Well, now we can be certain. The answer is really, really, very very bad. For all of us.

You wouldn’t know it from my parents as they are now (I sadly lost them to Fox News back in 2016) but I grew up in a Nazi-punching family. I was raised watching Indiana Jones punch Nazis. We watched those movies over and over. The message was clear. Nazis = bad. Where on earth have we gone wrong?
One thing about me is that I will fight Nazis until I’m six feet in the ground.

I’m personally having a hard time processing and coping with the volume of terrible news coming at us right now. But I’ll tell you what… That hour of jiu jitsu I did tonight? Therapeutic.

How did yesterday go? Is America great again yet?

I’ve already decided 2025 is going to be a very low-spend year for me, possibly beyond that. No unnecessary purchases, no movie rentals, use free library for books and other resources where possible. Not participating in this economy any more than absolutely necessary.

As a student of history, I don’t know if this is reassuring at this time. But true none-the-less.
This is wisdom

Definitely still trying to find my people on this app. Meanwhile, on TikTok the algorithm took me by the hand and led me to them. It was a lot less lonely for sure.

What is everyone reading to get through this difficult time? I borrowed Tracy Chevalier’s Falling Angels from my neighborhood free little library and I love that someone’s cat made an imprint in the cover. #BookSky

With Elon Musk being exposed as a fraud in yet another area—this time by trying to fool gamers into thinking he’s some world-leading player when he just paid someone to play—it’s time to again post this, so you can understand Musk: “The Myth of the Secret Genius.” www.forkingpaths.co/p/the-myth-o...
The Myth of the Secret Genius
From Elon Musk to Elizabeth Holmes and Donald Trump, many very rich people are effective at convincing us of a myth: they're secretly a genius, and you're just too dumb to understand. Are they right?
