I submitted a help question on Facebook but I doubt it'll get addressed.

I like Facebook and Instagram for keeping up with relatives and distant friends who don't all have Bluesky. There's just more people there. I also serve in local government and use it to communicate.

Now I'm weirded out. I shared this with two friends who are also noticing *waves hands* all this and they were just as weirded out as I was.

One friend also searched for Skinny Dip Farm and it took her straight to their page. Meanwhile I tried again and got the same help is available page.

Until this week. My local farmers market is on Thursday. On Wednesday night, I wanted to see what one of the vendors might have available, so I did a search for the farm on Facebook.

The farm's name is Skinny Dip Farm. (And check them out if you're local, they rock!)

I was annoyed, but mostly at the idea of one of my "friends" (my Meta accounts are all heavily locked down) reporting me.

I made a follow up post on Instagram complaining about the while situation, a few friends reacted supportively, and life moved on.

The next morning when I opened Threads, instead of my feed, I was greeted with a notice that someone had reported my post for suicidal ideation, and that help was available.

Back in June, someone posted a funny on Threads mocking Jill Stein for, well, everything. I screenshotted and reposted with the caption, "Officially dying. I needed this today."

Then I went to bed.

Tomorrow is more cleaning out my parents' utterly disgusting house. They hoarded for over 20 years; we're only now realizing how bad it was. Monday will be back to business.

But tonight is re-charge/catharsis.

My older daughter made a kickass fruit salad from all local fruits. My younger daughter made these amazing key lime tarts. My husband's ribs are proof that God exists. And I have perfected gin-basil martinis.

How could you hate your own kid enough to stoop to accusing them of being a crisis actor?!?

No you don't. If he did get convicted, his younger replacement would be someone handpicked by Leonard Leo, nominated by Trump, and rubber-stamped by the GOP Senate. He's terrible, I agree, but the last thing we need is a younger clone of Thomas/Alito, and that's what we'd get.
