It’s with an overwhelming amount of excitement that I can share that after being commissioned and ordained in July I will be taking up leadership at Abergavenny corps, Wales Division.

It’s also the Boy’s first Christmas and this was him watching as we opened the last of the gifts. He was outside for most of it.

The girls were asleep and didn’t want to know.

I just got majorly excited over this successful focaccia… I may need to get out more.

Walked into the living room this morning to this 😅 definitely a new tree next year

This is the 2nd year with my own place to decorate and make my own traditions. My mum is a staunch ‘12 days before, 12 days after’ kinda decorator but I don’t think that’s gonna work in ministry, so here’s my new tradition.

This Sunday is Stir up Sunday and so the tree has gone up to stir me up.

When the Christmas tree breaks in its second year 🙃 packing tape to the rescue.

Silver lining: get to go Christmas tree shopping next year

Walking down to Youth Group and saw that this tree is getting removed because it’s stressed.

Maybe we can learn from this, to take a step back and remove ourselves from situations for a small while to reduce stress.
