If you're not outraged or terrified, you're not paying attention to what's happening in front of your own eyes.

For this year's #NationalHotChocolateDay I broke out the Valrhona and made Parisian hot chocolate (AKA liquid ganache). I may or may not have added a substantial amount of crème de cacao to mine.

To tune out the horrors of daily life under this regime, I celebrated #NationalChocolateCakeDay on Monday with this almond bourbon cake with ganache glaze. Sometimes you just have to ignore the world and eat cake. (By "sometimes" I mean every day.)
