I don’t know that this will get much attention but it should
A huge night for Democrats:

—They flip Miami's mayorship.
—They flip a state House district in Georgia that had voted Trump by 13%.
—They keep Albuquerque's mayorship, while the liberal faction flips city council.
—And they get big overperformances (+18 & +22) in 2 Florida specials.

Donald Trump promised to lower costs, but Americans are struggling to afford healthcare and food.

Trump has made billions since January 20. How much has your family made as Trump profits off the Oval Office?

Sen. Andy Kim @kim.senate.gov has a message: “There is a corruption tax in this country...He sees it in Republicans (obviously) but he also "sees it in New Jersey political bosses trying to protect their turf and ice out independent investigation."

Incredibly proud of my senator, @kim.senate.gov for fighting corruption in his own party in NJ. Hoping governor-elect @mikiesherrill.bsky.social will join him.

Kicking ass. Go @kim.senate.gov !!!
Corruption eats away at our politics no matter where we live. That’s why we need to build an anti-corruption movement to fight against what we see from the Oval Office to our own communities. I went up to Trenton today to stand up for integrity in the face of corruption.

Democracy starts at home. Thank you @kim.senate.gov for fighting for democracy in NJ.
I just finished testifying in front of a NJ State Senate hearing against a bill that would weaken our fight against corruption. I stood alongside AG Platkin and Comptroller Walsh to call on state senators and members of the assembly to vote against this wrong move.

Unspeakable harm. Ongoing.
Three victims of sexual trafficking by Epstein and Maxwell have died from suicide or drug overdoses:

Virginia Giuffre (2025)
Carolyn Andriano (2023)
Leigh Skye Patrick (2017)

Those are just the ones we know of and who came forward. One cannot help but wonder how many more did not survive.

Grijalva: It has been 50 days since the people of Arizona's seventh congressional district elected me to represent them. 50 days that over 800,000 arizonans have been left without access to the basic services that every constituent deserves.

No, those Dems were just the ones that don't have an election to worry about. They ran cover for the rest.
Schumer must go.

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

You think Dem voters would have turned out in the numbers, and with the enthusiasm, they did JUST FIVE DAYS AGO if they thought the party was going cave like this? Jesus

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

This is a shit deal. It's a betrayal. It's cowardice.

Caving now will teach Trump and Republicans that they can win any fight simply by threatening to cause terrible harm to regular people. no possible way that could have future adverse consequences

Schumer is spreading the word he was against the deal. But he is the leader. So he either tacitly let it happen or he failed as a leader. No excuse works for him. This is a fail.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.
