Gen X. Poet. Professor. I like dogs, art with edge, jeans, vintage, and gardening. Not a fan of empire, AI, wind, or okra. I just moved back east after a bunch of years in Los Angeles. Found a pearl in the last 🦪 I ate.

We have discovered a planet. It is through the lookingglass. A llama-like animal lives there and drinks time. We could find happiness there, perhaps.

Hey, did you know there's an alternative to ChatGPT that makes sense economically and doesn't destroy the environment?
It's called English majors and they will happily fix all of your documents for the low price of health insurance and a living wage.

Cannot stop thinking about how Octavia Butler wrote a book in 1993 about climate change. It opens with deadly fires in LA in 2025. In the story, a fascist President has just won office with the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again."

She was a modern day Nostradamus. If only we'd listened.

See that label “Mendocino”? I used to live on Mendocino in Altadena. They’re evacuated. Worried about friends and neighbors. Wind is relentless.
