I don't think you do stop wanting it. And I don't think it's as easy as moving on, either. But, eventually, and while you're still clinging to that dream, life shifts something so that you can have your dream another way. It's not about moving on - just about continuing forward through the grief.

And, like tides, grief will always rise and fall in a cycle. And all you can do is let it do it's thing. If what you're grieving meant that much to you, it will always exist in some place in your soul. Just like the ocean will always exist even when you can't see it.

...a fraction of the world that's alive when you can't touch it.
Low tides are when you see the broken shells, the decaying kelp that's washed ashore, and tide pools that still contain a glimmer of life that wants the whole ocean back again.

And I'm understanding of feral cats and strays, but that's a huge grey area for me because my urban town still has foxes, bears, hawks, and other predators. Like, please, take the fur-babies in. Get them fixed. Get them vaccinated. Show them love and protection, and spoil them, dammit!!

I say this because I was out with a friend tonight, and when she went to drop me off there was an *unalived* cat at the end of my driveway. And if that was someone's fur-baby that they intentionally let free-roam, SHAME ON THEM!

I'd be a little more understanding if it was a "spring out" situation.

That's so fair. Like, he's the most powerful fallen angel, the KING of hell, and he somehow manages to fall for a trap by some sort of overlord sinner? Seriously? He didn't even try to put up a real fight, did he?

That was also a really nice plot point. Alastor being a masterful manipulator to finally break his deals and get his way.

Still, the rest of the season just felt... Dry. Charlie was so powerful in S1, what happened to that?

I couldn't agree more. Season 1 was fine. But it's as if they literally forgot everything they were building up to in S2.

I think the only halfway decent execution in S2 was the reveal that Vox was using Angel to spy on the hotel after it was obvious that Pentious wasn't the spy.

That's the one thing I can't wrap my head around, either. I hate measuring unless it has to do with specified baking instructions (i.e. 1 cup flour, etc.). Outside of that, it makes no sense why humans *want* to measure things. Why can't we just exist? Why does everything need some explanation?

It's the fact that your art style is simultaneously detailed yet simplistic that I'm, frankly, jealous. You're inspiring, let me tell ya.
