It is primarily focused on the US - there are certainly takeaways relevant for international events, but the focus of Samantha's research (and my own) is the US.

I see a lot of disaster policy hot takes in the wake of major events, and it makes me wish you all understood how the emergency management system actually works. This book is the best place to start.

Jamvent Day 7: Wild Blueberry - Maple Syrup Spread. This was good! I only ate about a third of it because I want to try it on the sourdough blueberry pancakes we have in the freezer. Reserving my rating for now.

Jamvent Day 5: Purple Fig - Cinnamon Spread. Wow! A nearly perfect jam. Had an unpleasant sensory experience with a seed or something but the taste was phenomenal. Ate on a brioche bun from On the Rise. 4.75/5
