I just paid £4 for a coffee. When iTunes started, #SteveJobs did not want a song to cost more than a coffee, so he set the price at 99 cents or 79p. That’s gone up to 99p, but I’m glad it hadn’t kept pace with coffee. I remember when £3 was normal for a coffee, now £4 🤷

There was a time when phones were promoted on the basis of the hardware and software features they had, then on the quality of the camera, now how scratch-resistant they are. #RunningOutOfIdeas

Have I got this right? If an immigrant is refused residence in any #EU state then they are barred from all EU states, but they can still try to get residence in any other (non-EU) country - such as the UK. And this is a reason why so many are trying to get there.

Is it just me? I seem to have heard a lot of successful people on #Radio4 recently telling how their parents were refugees from Nazi Germany. Very different attitude to migrants back then?
