Fucking seriously Facebook? Nine posts in a row of recommended and other crap I don't want to see? I'm thankful I have the Social Fixer plug-in, as it condenses "recommended" and advertising posts into sing lines which I can view if I want.

Listening to music with a kit comprised of a beautiful headphone amplifier from a small company in Korea, combined with hand-built, 3D printed headphones & cable, both from small US companies. There's a whole, fascinating world of design in this hobby.

The correct thing to do in a social setting in Japan when given a mandarin to eat is to only leave one piece of peel. I am clearly a failure.

Found one of the two, huge Jewel Spiders that had built webs above my room, dead on the balcony. It looks like a full-blown murder scene.

Took me a moment to figure out what is going on here. It's a three wheel bike and the rider is disabled. His wheelchair is strapped in on the left. Even though manufacturers here have dedicated wheelchair car models, I'll bet that this is way more fun.

My oldest working Mac, a 2010 Mini Server, is now dead. It has the random hard shut-off problem. The monitor is messed up as well, and I'm not paying over $200 for new internals.

I've been converting all my "audiophile" micro-USB cables to USB-C. How handy it is that various random Chinese sellers make easy-to-solder plugs with the correct pinout.

Reminds me that I had to resist getting this from the second-hand shop. It is listed in the "Junk" section of the store, ie: they wont guarantee it works at all.
