I tried to do some aluminium on the new CNC for the local team. It did not go well but things were learned. Side note: making tool paths in FreeCAD is technically possible but truly an awful experience.

I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel for the first time and now I really want to recreate the pastries. The packaging is also a required part of the experience.

Used it to throw together this ISO 30 tool holder label clip for the CNC. Idea is to use the flat to hold printed labels. When you put a tool in the CNC you take the clip off and put it in a rack by the operator console in the place corresponding to the pocket it’s in on the machine.
