The best thing about blue sky is rediscovering penny arcade. Real life meant I didn't have time for video games or comics and by the time I did the algorithms took over that made it hard to find these parts of my twenties that I relished. I am glad y'all are still around and of high quality.

What's with the old ladies?
I'm personally working on an evolution simulator and I'm inclined to think life requires chemistry. The main difference is self sustainability. Digital 'life' cannot build and install it's hardware in a vacuum.

Here are some Amoebas that have evolved to hunt.
They use their spikes to damage their prey, and then funnel their remains into their mouth.
