As long as we don't end up accidentally summoning a Basilisk.

There's a Ships of the Line calendar that shows an Oberth-like tug carrying a warp nacelle to a Constitution in drydock. I've always loved the idea that the Oberths are modular like the Mirandas and later Nebulas.

Cool! Reminds me of the game ZPC [Zero Population Count]

Great blurb for a reprint cover.

I know it's probably because it's a postwar scarcity thing, but it reminds me of the No Name brand in Canada.

The two postcards I've posted were photos from a Reddit user that I was able to fix up. Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck finding the remaining postcards aside from very low-res versions on the website.

I tore this poster out of a PC Gamer to have on my wall. Chichoni also did the original cover for the novelization, as well as some awesome postcards that came with the game, as well as being available on the game's website and strategy guide.

When "All Good Things..." First aired there was a shot of the future EntD firing its cannon while dodging green disruptor fire, but as a kid I thought it was the back of the cannon drawing in energy, which is what this reminded me of.

Haha, I cropped the exact same thing but you beat me to it.

Here's what I mean. Hulls could be connected in a variety of different ways. The "Promenade" in red, optional modules in blue, and umbilicals and EPS in green.

Could be nothing, but it seems like it'd be fun to see, even if it was some hacked together thing, like the Scavenger Base in Elite Force.

In Monster Party for the NES, there was this terrifying transition as you pass this big bush, where everything turns evil. The music changes from cheery to four, and everything gets all bloody.

Also, the legs coming out of the ground were super unsettling.

A few people already mentioned the Space Precinct fellas, but my mind went to the Zando-zan bounty hunter from The Last Starfighter.

That format of head freaks me out. Admiral Ackbar gets a pass but still.

Cybermage. It could use some fixes to the controls but otherwise is an awesome game.

Big Planetary Union meets Centauri Republic vibes on that one.

What come to mind immediately are:
-The Moldy Crow, Star Wars: Dark Forces
-The "Phantom TIE", Star Wars: Rebel Assault II
-The Liberty Dreadnaught, Freelancer
-The Springblossom, X3: Terran Conflict

You're always redshirt on the Hazard Team? ;)

If I had to guess, it was probably either an aesthetic choice (matchy matchy) or a game dev choice (a generic male and female texture). Although IIRC in multiplayer you could change the colour.

In EFII they had the correct department colours.
