We have a term in German called ‚fremdschämen‘ denoting when something embarrasses you from watching.
I liked the book a lot as well. I also liked that IMO you can’t really say it’s utopian or dystopian, it had elements of both and it made me quite optimistic about the impact post-scarcity can have on society.
