For the record, I'm very passionate about this subject in particular bc I've had very bad experiences with ex friends who were extremely vitriolic toward me bc their art was "better than mine" yet I had a few hundred more deviantArt followers than them. Number shit's bad for your brain.
Always a good reminder: Your skill at social media is not equal to your skill as an artist. Higher follower number =/= better artist.
