I think people are just bad at using AI like someone googling and citing random websites. It is funny that when I just queried GPT5.2 Thinking it brought up false online claims! The result of the results I get are pretty normal (discussing the impact of the statement, how it intimidates etc)

That’s my understanding. But even if they gave up all their material, given Japan’s advanced reprocessing and enrichment capabilities Japan could start churning out material in months. I have a chart of breakout timelines and I’ve been told it’s pretty conservative.

When I was young we had a Shih Tzu (DC area). It snowed significantly months after we got him and we took him to experience the snow. He didn’t like it. For years later we’d have to plow him a path from the door to the lawn and even clear snow from the lawn for him to go to the bathroom.

Going the fast path, it takes 6+ months to build a crude reprocessing facility, 2+ months to reprocess the fuel, and 1+ year to weaponize. That’s 20+ months and it’s not factoring in the impact of Russia constantly bombarding facilites.
