Such a legend.
Ms. Heineman will be sorely missed but not forgotten by those who were lucky enough to play the games she helped create. Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Dragon Wars, Tass Times and several important Mac ports.

It was such an honor and a pleasure meeting her in 2018.
RIP, Becky.

Do you ever walk alone
Like a drifter in the dark?
Seeking out what isn't there
Looking only for a spark.

Don't think I've said this in 20 years, but I really wish I hadn't updated Macos to Tahoe 26. Not only does it look to be a janky mess, but the performance is degraded.

I can disable the glass via the Terminal which brings the performance back, but then important menubar icons vanish. It sucks.

Just a small sampling of some real family photos hanging on the bathroom wall of an Italian restaurant in Seattle. And to think Portland likes to own the tagline, “Keep Portland Weird.”

I was beyond lucky to acquire this in 2024. I think it was originally from an Amiga dealership from central or northern Oregon. In any case the light fixture inside was broken. I finally fixed it today and put an LED light in its place.

Shine on you crazy diamond, forevermore.

Today I published a video where I demo one of the most amazing pieces of hardware that was never sold - a pixel perfect Atari 2600 emulator in the form factor of a Sony Walkman. It could also emulate a C64... This video is a tribute to my friend who made it, and his brilliance. youtu.be/S0NU5KEuNuc

Seeing the little Commodore club I founded and have hosted each month in Seattle since 2018 featured in the first issue of the rebooted Compute's Gazette really made me proud and happy today. So cool!
