Don't think I've said this in 20 years, but I really wish I hadn't updated Macos to Tahoe 26. Not only does it look to be a janky mess, but the performance is degraded.

I can disable the glass via the Terminal which brings the performance back, but then important menubar icons vanish. It sucks.
just one example of the new macos shitshow that never, ever should have shipped. The worst part is the ridiculous performance his this unsightly mess causes - esp. with Electron-based apps.

Incredibly creepy. Very strange portrait of a man in a suit and a woman in a nice striped dress surrounded by various muppets and ventriloquist puppets, as if the puppers comprise their family. Incredible photo composition where a main with a comb-over wearing large glasses looking into the distance from the 1970s or 1980s fills the frame. His family (presumably his wife and three kids) are super-imposed over his head like thoughts in his mind.

I was beyond lucky to acquire this in 2024. I think it was originally from an Amiga dealership from central or northern Oregon. In any case the light fixture inside was broken. I finally fixed it today and put an LED light in its place.

Shine on you crazy diamond, forevermore.

It is how it was shipped from the factory - with 1.4. Came stock as a dual booting machine with 2.0 and 1.3.

I have another A3K that I’ve made silly with upgrades. This one is pure 1990, and I love it.

Well, I couldn't help myself. I got the beige, because I'm a nostalgic fool. Do I need one of these? Nope! I've got a zillion (and an elite board, and a mech board, etc.).

But I really want this to succeed. You know?

And to get an email with an actual C= logo. Hard to believe.

So god damned tired how many times - PER DAY - some entity tries to scam me. Email, text, phone...

Honestly, if I could remove my phone app - FROM MY PHONE - it would be so nice and peaceful. Dumb, but peaceful.

Are there really no legal safeguards against all this constant crap?

Email scam someone sent me trying to tell me my payment at Dreamhost is invalid and I need to fix it. Except the email sender is obviously just some douche bag.
