We all want to know who did this....
It's almost funny watching him try to wriggle out of the thing everyone knows. Even if, arguendo, he did not support this and it did not have his approval, that is actually worse. It shows he cannot lead his own caucus and the members do not trust or respect him.

You are not angry unless you immediately and publicly demand that Schumer resign his leadership post. Everything else is performative bullshit.

Thank you Senator. Also, will you continue to vote to support current Senate leadership?|

Will you vote for new leadership in the Senate or continue to support the existing slate of leaders?

I mean either this is a transparent attempt to wriggle out of blame or he is such a weak leader he has no control over his caucus. Either way he is unfit for the position and needs to be removed.

Come on man let's be honest here... they caved because they didn't want their Thanksgiving travel plans disrupted.

Based on Tuesday's election it looks like the populace is well aware of who is at fault.

I think this was a mistake. The Trump and co view any attempt to compromise as weakness and this will just harden their resolve and go harder because they think democrats will break.

i can't imagine after the letter Jefferies and Schumer sent Republicans yesterday they would just capitulate... that's insane.

Jones went dark woke and correctly identified the new electorate is wine moms who have chosen violence.

Wow this is a throwback to the aught's when some dumb dumb would bust out a wikipedia article to "win" arguments.

Tonight however was a complete humiliation for Trump and he is going to dig in because he is afraid if he loses everything will fall apart.
November 5, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Funnily enough I think this is going to extend the shutdown. If Dems had won but not as convincingly I think Republicans would have come to the table and Trump would have blessed it behind the scenes.

If they refuse to turn over the evidence then doesn't that allow the Plaintiff in the selective prosecution case (Tish James) to assert the assumption that the evidence is in her favor?

No there is not. The Constitution is a hard bar. Any argument otherwise is literal quackery.

"Please make sure you don't infer too much!" scolds credulous rubes who assured us that Trump was definitely not going to move forward on project 2025 because he told them he wouldn't.

This is what I don't understand, I liked him too! I thought he had a great story and seemed very likeable and was making good sops to policy. But once you find new information about someone you are allowed to change your opinion!

I've played both an the revised version sucks compared to the original. To easy to turtle your way to victory even at ridiculous difficulties and the changes made catapults and airships way too overpowered (the damage applied to every figure in a unit separately).

Go out arguing Civ 2 was the best 4x ever. Like a King.

I am genuinely sad that for the most competitive Senate race in the country the only candidates we are able to field are "Liberal octogenarian" "Super Pac guy" and "unself-aware Commie-Nazi."
