Friends, I'm so tired. 3 weeks post surgery, pain is so bad. I'm completely incapable of emotional regulation. I developed a random infection because my body is so overloaded. I don't know how I'd keep going without my beloveds right now. Also chubbles. Especially Potato Chip, look at him.

Must be why I own so many! I really love them, left handed friendly is definitely part of it! My first was from my dad, was in a drawer for a decade & cleaned up beautifully. Converter is stained but I don't mind, something to remember him by. I wish I knew what ink he had so I can get myself some.

Reject modernity, use fountain pens. Honestly the difference writing makes for me is palpable. It's like old time medicine using leeches for getting rid of vile humours.

In the time between stopping using Twitter & now, Jesse & I bought a house, got engaged & most recently, lost our old man Falkor to a rare & aggressive cancer. Wonder what has been happening in the lives of people I've been out of touch with.

One thing I've been enjoying lately is getting into Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. I stopped playing when the microtranscations were getting out of hand & have returned with the paid version. It's nice to be with my friends again.

@tornack.bsky.social was yelling "pig face at the end of the bed!!!" Turns out Mabel (our staffy) tore the face off her toy. I told him it's a tribute to David Lynch, she made weird art in his memory.

I'm trying to remember who I used to follow on the bird site, it's been too long for me to be able to think of all the names. And probably not everyone migrated. Anyway, I wear glasses again. My laser eyes wore out, so it's back to be spectacular.
