It is so important the recycling industry work on product circularity — where a bottle or container gets turned back into a bottle or container of the same grade. This way, if fewer products are purchased, fewer are recycled, & production more closely follows demand — reducing severe price shocks.

We need policy protections to ensure recyclables stay competitive—like minimum recycled content requirements. Otherwise, recycling could lose out to cheaper, subsidized virgin materials.
