Industry wants loopholes:
– Excluding packaging categories
– Dumping film + flex into recycling carts
– Calling plastic burning “recycling”

SB-54, signed into law in 2022, is a landmark policy to cut plastic waste & expand recycling.

Regulations were due 3/8 but industry groups want a delay.

AMBR urges @governor.ca.gov to finalize & enforce SB-54s regs by the set deadline.
