The new version of TikTok won't allow you to search for things like "rigged election" or "did Donald Trump violate XYZ" stating it violates their guidelines.

I am adopted. My adopted parents were... not great. My biological mother has found me and been communicating with me recently. Yesterday, she told me she was proud of me. I'm middle aged and this was the first time a parent told me they were proud of me. I'm still trying to process this.

Over the next four days I am making roast chicken and sundried tomato orzo, lasagna, buffalo chicken dip, hoagie dip, Grinch dip, spinach artichoke dip,cake batter dip, (for Merry Dipmas), an enormous beef brisket with an equally enormous amount of 4 cheese mac and cheese. I am preemptively tired. 😂

My husband and I had a quiet Thanksgiving, just the two of us. He is recovering from surgery, and I am recovering from RSV. But my eldest and I prepped our matching turkeys together over Facetime. Technology can be wonderful. Happy Turkey Weekend to all!
