Painting 🎨 2 "Vision" is my favourite one for the colours--I love the pinks, browns, and purple-blues--and it's the first one I did after getting back into painting in the fall 🍂. The eyes are my favourite feature of this painting and the textured background is a close second.

Painting 1: I tried different primary hues so it was a challenge for me. I enjoyed creating the strong contrast between foreground and background and the harsh shadows. The powdery look makes me think of the dust that settles on things hence "Reminiscence" 😜 lol something like that.

Just a note to approach buying a painting with the idea of not whether it's worth $200 but hmm... do I like this art enough to hang it in my kitchen while feeling good about my money going to mutual aid or to support the unhoused without police interference? ❤️‍🔥💜❤️‍🔥

I received these noise-cancelling bluetooth earphones (Soundcore Life Dot 2 NC) a few years ago and love them. They have 3 different noise-cancelling states that are customizable with their app. It's been great when I work in coffee shops, walk through traffic, and work through noisy construction.
