Something very funny about Oracle running any consumer product let alone TikTok

I’m volunteering at a Colorguard Competition for my 8 year old, and I’m calling soda “pop.” I think I’ve successfully assimilated into Midwest culture.

There is a strange make-believe that happens when you’re waiting for a layoff. No one talks openly about it; just hushed video calls and private slack messages. We see it out of the corner of our eye, but if we don’t look directly at it maybe it will choose someone else.
