Went to the aquarium at the zoo today. I needed that. ❤️

Kiddo and I often do his schoolwork cuddled up under the blankets in my bed, and Taco has gotten used to this and curls up with us. This morning, we had class later than normal—I didn’t understand why Taco was meowing at me until we came in for class. 🤣

Looks like he literally just throws anyone he doesn’t like for any reason on this list. Super shitty since people looking at it can’t tell if someone’s on the list for being transphobic or just saying something he doesn’t agree with.

I've done all the doomscrolling I can for the moment. The heartbreak and worry is so, so real. I've written more letters to state officials this week than in my entire life.

We found a home for my MIL’s dogs with someone my BIL knows. It’s great because they’ll have a family again and they get to stay together, but it’s hard to say goodbye to them. 💔

Not paying attention to the news for a few days in the current state of things can really make catching up a shitty experience. Just learned about this from Reddit.

In the order, CDC researchers were instructed to remove references to or mentions of a list of forbidden terms: ‘Gender, transgender, pregnant person, pregnant people, LGBT, transsexual, non-binary, nonbinary, assigned male at birth, assigned female at birth, biologically male, biologically female.’”

Snow update at my place in SC!

Yeeeah, this gave me pause. My daughter immediately deleted the app when she saw it. It’s effectively ruined for me, and that sucks.
