True. I rarely used to comment on anything, but I have been trying to get better at it. I want to be supportive when possible, but it can be difficult to break old habits.
I still feel that people posting need to make an effort has well. Like asking what others think or what someone's fav part it.

I'm nerodivergent and speak words in my head while I text. It can be very exhausting.

True and sometimes I do, if I really love the post, but other times I feel like a bot trying to speak like a human which gives me anxiety. Other times I'm just scrolling because I'm tired and bored, which means I don't have the energy to speak let alone text, which feels like talking to me.

I agree, but I also find it can be difficult to form the right words for a compliment and more often than not someone has already said it best. Which sometimes makes me feel as though I have nothing to better to give. Also sometimes commenting feels like small talk to me, which I'm just plain bad at

I'll also admit I don't make the most engaging posts myself, but part if that can also be due to character limits.

Personally I feel as though many posts that I see just aren't engagement worthy. They aren't asking questions like this one or they're just nice pictures. I still give likes or shares for support, but unless it's an engaging post it's just doesn't feel worth trying to come up with something to say.
