YES. Someone needs to be sharing the other side of this situation. The part the public doesn't see. Yeah waste and fraud are bad, but so is illegally firing federal employees and closing agencies. The long-term effects are going to be awful. This will trickle down into communities. We ALL suffer.
I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.

🥲 People please use your voices! Say something! Annoy those in charge in your state until someone steps up and takes action to save our parks. It's more than just job losses, it's going to make parks unable to stay safe or open.
🦬 Our hearts are breaking for all of the civil servants being forced out of the service. They are firefighters, tribal liaisons, wildlife biologists, park interpreters, archaeologists, and many others. They are not "low productivity employees" — they are defenders of YOUR public lands.
This week, approximately 200,000 federal workers have been let go.

Across the government, probationary employees and Schedule A workers—including individuals with severe physical, psychiatric, or intellectual disabilities, as well as veterans—are being let go.

Heartbreaking news… Tonight, many of our friends were let go, and tomorrow, even more will follow. Word is that all probationary employees at NPS will be let go. 😭
