It's a bit crazy to me that you can just provide a link to any virus-hosting website in your dependencies list, and npm will gladly download, extract, and then execute arbitrary code found at that link, without any prompt, as part of a simple install command.

I was affected, and I have reported the package as malware. Beware.

The fact that it's a random AI narrator telling a dumb story about Family Feud (as opposed to a talking deepfake claiming to be Jimmy Kimmel and telling you what political opinions to have) makes it so much less bad. Still awful, though.

Apparently Norway breaks from the European standard and does it like the Americas as well. Good call, Norway!

...Because here's Finland.

This is a 4-lane road with 2 lanes in each direction. The lines don't tell you if you're changing lanes into oncoming traffic.

Correction, it seems that South America does it the same way as NA. I'm definitely a fan of the Americas' style of road markings over the European style.

The answer to how people tell such situations apart is apparently "we just know". I'm curious how many head-on collisions are caused by people getting it wrong. I'll just say, the North American convention of "yellow line means oncoming" is nice and simple.

I hate misuse and abuse of systems that exist for a reason. And I clearly get too passionate about fast food.

There's just something really frustrating about a display that exists for customers' benefit, listing all the orders and their statuses, and it's just completely blank when certain managers are working, and you just watch your order disappear before your eyes, as if someone stole your food.

I've heard managers tell employees to do this firsthand, something like: "remember, clear it out as soon as it comes in". This strategy has caused them to completely lose my order and bring me over to the cash register to re-enter it from scratch when I asked what was taking so long. "We lost it."
