PhD Research Scholar at CPS, JNU, New Delhi, India. I study contemporary Disability discourse in India through the concepts of rights, welfare & charity. I love to read, reflect & write on Socio-legal developments impacting marginalised communities
As a person with print disability, I have shifted my mode of learning by listening to books rather than reading as I used to do in my undergrad.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the Capitol Crawl, in which disabled activists discarded their mobility aids at the foot of the Capitol steps to climb them in support of passage of the Americans with Disabilities Ac. Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, 8, told reporters "I'll take all night if I have to!"

It’s a typical Sunday morning & my usual spot of catching a fast local train to go to my home💜

Things have not changed much on platform no 4 at Dadar station, only they have removed the barricades on the other side of the platform, so it is open from both sides of platform no 4 & 5 now😊

I make a newsletter on international disability news and I need your help.

The two biggest challenges for a project like this are visibility and financing.

Please share, to help others find it.

And if you're comfortable, it runs on pay-what-you-can.
