You might be able to do make some sort of 3D light mask to achieve that effect. I did a quick test and was able to get one mesh to go invisible under light and reveal a second mesh underneath.

Best I can tell, Godot currently does not have a built in way to customize the shadow texture. You can modify the shader pipeline: godotshaders.com/shader/styli...
