New trick - beaded shoe charms! Ok, so I’m still REALLY bad at crimping and need to learn from some experts, so this effort is really just for practice. I can see it now, 5 seconds after I put it on our nieces shoe it will break and there will be tears.

Quick sketch of my granny. She passed in 1992. As I was writing my family history/recipe book I learned more about her - she had to grow up fast during the Depression and made her way. I can still smell her perfume. It was always Channel.

Stuck inside because of wildfire smoke drifting down from Canada. Working on learning about beading and jewelry making. Glass beads, rose quartz, coconut shell seed beads, one pearl, some afghan turquoise, two clay beads, brass ring beads, and an orange wooden bead.
