It is my preference to not road trip through a major winter storm event in NE/IA/MN EVER AGAIN. We left at 1 p.m. Friday from Omaha, got home today (Saturday) at 1 p.m.

New trick - beaded shoe charms! Ok, so I’m still REALLY bad at crimping and need to learn from some experts, so this effort is really just for practice. I can see it now, 5 seconds after I put it on our nieces shoe it will break and there will be tears.

I drained and cleaned my not hot tub today - it had little particulates of wild fire ash/debris in it. That stuff is sticky.
