Aurora (maybe?) near San Mateo just before 11 pm local time. Not at all visible to the naked eye with so much ambient light, and I had to reeeeeally torture the photo adjustments to bring it out, but I do think I managed to catch something.
Faint aurora(?) in the sky over an apartment building and framed by some foliage. There is some slight pinkness towards the upper left and some slight green below it and closer to the center of the frame. Photo adjustments: Highlights -100, Brightness -80, and Saturation +100.

As I was saying…
A text message exchange starting with an image of glass flower-looking art by Dale Chihuly, followed by the sender (my mom) including a shark emoji and “dum dum…” a la JAWS. The recipient (me) responds with “My stalker returns!” and a laugh-crying emoji. This exchange happened today, 9/25, with my mother having had no knowledge of the prior Bluesky discussion of Chihuly.

Ahh yes, a throwback to 2015… the year we got a selfie stick for Christmas.
Three people look vaguely toward the camera with confused expressions. The faces of all three people are quite close to the camera, with two of the faces partially out of frame. The face closest to the camera is upside down and peaking in from the top right corner.
