Love an ampersand #&
‘&’ is called an ‘ampersand’ and means “and.”

In the Middle Ages, when single letters were used as words, the phrase ‘per se’ would be included to indicate they were being used as a word and not just a letter.

“I per se, I” = ‘I’ is being used as the word

It’s fascinating to observe the various strategies HEIs use to boost student participation in the #NSS. From incentivised campaigns and personalised outreach to gamification and peer-led promotion, the approaches to promoting the NSS vary widely. What works?

Absolutely have seen this firsthand with some edtech startups. Where when in fact, given the emphasis is on ‘education’ and then ‘tech’ in the portmanteau that is ‘edtech’, it should really be informed by experience within education first of all rather than being led by technology #edtech #education
One of the things to know about edtech is that many, many people involved in it have no experience teaching, and particularly not at the grade level the intervention is designed to target. They’re tech guys who think tech is Very Hard and teaching is a skill-free avocation for ladies.

Interesting thoughts on the issue and concept of extra time for assessment for students. This is a challenge for students and pupils at all stages of their education where they are undertaking summative assessments. #assessment #reasonableadjustment #extratime
