They choose this. They choose this. They choose this. Melania. Usha. Ivanka. They are adults and they choose all this. They can leave at any moment, and every day they are still choosing this. They are not victims, they are henchwomen.

If you’ve never seen BoJack Horseman, I cannot think of a better time to start watching it.

The acerbic wit and self awareness is an excellent way to escape but it also affirms so much of what we know of the world.

2025 is going to suck bad enough.

That’s why someone or several someones with money need to save @chicagoreader.com.

We can’t afford to lose free indie pubs anymore. Truly we cannot.

I just decorated for Christmas.

I’m always an early November decorator.

But I couldn’t bring myself to do it until now. I’m glad I did though. Did my heart good.

All I want for Christmas is to not have any more unprecedented times.

I’m so glad @vivziepop.bsky.social introduced the Helluva Boss fandom to Patrick Page. Just another incredible stage performer in this universe that I adore.

my primary issue with straight actors taking on gay roles is that they usually make these films completely sexless, ergo doing absolutely nothing to normalize gay sex in society.

happily, #queermovie is an exception.

Scrolling casually through the Rotten Tomatoes critics synopses of Wicked made one thing abundantly clear — most of the critics who panned it were men who thought it was without substance.

“Wicked” isn’t a masterpiece.

It is a thrilling love letter to musical theater.

Found a long forgotten, green velvet dress with silver stars all over it.

Am I going to wear it to see Wicked even though I’m going to a 9:45 am showing?

You bet your ass I am.

As someone who has loved Wicked for literally half their life and as an unashamed theater kid, I am begging you not to sing in the theater.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.

Octavia Butler being a time traveler or seer, will forever be a hill I'm willing to die on, because there's just no way. Parable of The Sower was published in 1993. Look at this date. #BlackBookSky #BookSky
