Yeah but like why do off-meta stuff without trying to win with it? That’s pretty much the main fun part of off-meta play: trying to figure out if the strategy is viable and/or trying to win in a more interesting way despite being at a disadvantage from the defying the meta

I can’t properly relate to how that’s fun (honestly the having fun intentionally trying to lose part is the harder part for me to relate to, seems like it would be insanely mind numbing and not in a fun way), but hey you do you.

There’s exactly one situation where it’s okay to go into a team based game with the intent to just fuck around and not try to win: when you’re doing it as part of a full premade team.

Yeah. Based on the official descriptions of the game, the steam page, and the October 13th ign preview where “the sequel won’t feature co-op” is stated. I guess some of that could be misdirection but I doubt it

I’m kinda heartbroken that Code Vein 2 isn’t going to have the co-op support the first had, I’d been really looking forward to doing a co-op run with one of my old friends like we had for the first game

Maybe one day he’ll graduate to the wolf boy he aspires to be, but in the story he’s definitely more puppy.
It’s a really fun story/book and quite satisfying in that it actually lets truly shitty people suffer for it and doesn’t do the bs “actually you have to accept empty apologies” thing

Actually this is Nicole writing this specific story, unicorn might be more likely because missing out on seeing this adorable kid get to be a normal girl with at least one extremely supportive mom might cause more women to cry than the envy from the reverse would.
