The other side of the clue was ‘A Gormenghastish fairy tale for adults’ and the ‘rules’ of the mystery books in the shop are that it has to have been published this year or last. Love it!

You are completely forgiven! Not least for all the top TV tips, but also for letting me know about Jay Kristoff - the Vampire books are some of the best I’ve read in recent years, and I too hope for a TV version at some point…
