Gym-owner, hysterical feminist kill joy, avid traveler, firm believer that dogs are better than people, who is going to remember to treat herself as well as she tries to treat everyone else. Oh, and I do words. Sometimes for fun.
I do know this should make me laugh, but ya, Friedman giving Trump a Neville Chamberlain prize made me laugh out loud enough to spell it out.

We bought this and love it. Also bought a similar Brother one for work and love it. Unlike inkjets, the ink doesn't dry out and clog if you don't use it, so it can sit dormant for ages and still be good. And no subscription nonsense.

We used to have this sign on our front door. (USED to be a CF gym, no longer, obviously.) We had a couple members say that they no longer felt safe at the gym. And ya, I did say "that says something about you that you may want to think about." LOL.

Took people a while to realize how great this album was, but in Seattle, we knew......

Comments like these pretend people haven't been reading in public for as long as the printing press has been around. And you don't know who they are or what they're doing. The Louvre is one of many museums that has a tour on an app, for instance. Or maybe they're just taking a break....

Chef Boyardee? Definitely more worthy.

If you're in the Seattle area and KOMO is your station, here's the list.

Ron Elving on @npr.org saying the Charlie Kirk was a good-faith debater who never advocated violence is pure harmful delusion. His murder was wrong, also, he was incredibly violent and encouraged others to be also.
September 11, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Why the fuck is @msnbc.com valorizing this hateful bigot? You can discuss the horror of political violence without pretending that Kirk was a good dude. JFC.

This is appalling.

He was one of the most hateful people on the planet. Murder is bad. Even of bad people. But he was a bad people.

Is it a little weird that I'm beaming like a proud parent because I learned that my dog's vet report calls him "an exceptionally sweet dog?" See, it's not just that I'm biased.

3 weeks away from Hama Hama Banjo Rama, dreaming about sweet ass bluegrass, eating oysters on the Hood Canal, and how amazing it would be if @stevemartinreally.bsky.social happened to be there. It's would be 5 of my favorite things in one place, and they all make sense together. It could happen!

Why are they not calling this what it is?

I would have zero sadness if something horrible happened to these three ghouls. (Ignoring the human props in their incel fever dream.)

More likely that people can't tell the difference between two plants that look almost identical to the untrained eye, especially when there are no visible blooms, and that detail is the least important thing about the image being discussed. Thankfully you can see the errors if not the point.

"Stylist’s own bag by Hermès." And somehow that's the least whack thing about this image. And it all works.

If you have friends camping in the Staircase / Lake Cushman area, tell them to get out now.

Paywalled in Seattle....

Bear Gulch growing...... This is such a stunning area. If you've ever been to Staircase, that's in the line of the fire.
