I just started #poopcruise and I’m already horrified.

OK, I’m going to do it this time. I deactivated Threads and I’m going to focus on Bluesky for my addictions.
July 1, 2025 at 10:40 PM
I want to really like this app, but I’m finding myself still going to Threads out of habit most days.
May 24, 2025 at 8:25 PM
I should be on this app more than Threads. I helped someone who was coming to Central FL and clearly didn’t do any research of their own, despite being a journalist. No updates from them after crowdsourcing 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I’m really disappointed in the Walt Disney World subreddits. I always hope for cool insider information/fun facts. Instead, they’re all complaints and trip planning. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better one? #disneyworld

This effect blew my mind back in the day when it worked.
NEW: The cannons on Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park are moving and firing again. BOOM.

Any Jewish person defending Elon Musk at this point needs their head examined. This is frightening.
Greeted with loud cheers, Elon Musk virtually delivered a short speech Saturday at a rally for the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, where he urged the crowd to not be ashamed of their country’s history.

It was a beautiful today at Walt Disney World. We haven’t been in a few weeks. But OMG the crowds were insane. I won’t wait more than 15 minutes for anything, so we only went on one ride all day. 😬

This is so frightening.
Elon Musk is likely to be given office space in the West Wing, giving him close proximity to President Trump as the world’s richest man steers a project that aims to cut as much as $2 trillion in government spending, two people with knowledge of the planning said.

I’m making reservations for my first-ever Walt Disney World staycation. As an AP who goes all the time, this is eye-opening in terms of the stress tourists deal with for ADR, Lightning Lane, etc.

Elon's Boring Company twice installed tunnels without permits to work on county property.

Environmental regulators documented it dumping untreated water into storm drains.

Workers filed Nevada OSHA complaints about “ankle-deep” water in tunnels and severe chemical burns.
Elon Musk’s Boring Company Is Tunneling Beneath Las Vegas With Little Oversight
Given Musk’s role advising President-elect Donald Trump on ways to slash regulations and government oversight, Boring and the Vegas Loop project might be a harbinger for the country.

Parenting is a funny thing. What works for your family doesn’t work for my family. Even if it doesn’t work right now, it could in six months.

I’m grateful to be on this social network, where any account or research I do doesn’t morph into a million posts about that one thing. Take potty training for example. I don’t want to see other people asking about, while I’ve been doing my research and reading books to help my own child.

Just saw a local TV station post a CNN affiliate web story that had a local connection (which wasn’t in there). Not only did they not write their own article, but they did not post anything about the local connection on social media. This encapsulates why local news is making itself obsolete.

It’s been several weeks since our last trip to #WaltDisneyWorld. We had visitors in town, otherwise, we would’ve avoided the crowds and skipped this weekend. I made a few observations. 1. People were “over it,” between Lightning Lane not being as quick on busy days, as well as the lines (1/?)

Here’s how Orlando International Airport hopes to solve baggage delays
Airport leaders won’t say how bad the problem is, but they admit they have one, and may spend a billion dollars to fix it.

I just found the #2under2 subreddit and I think it would’ve given me a heart attack while I was pregnant with my second kid. Parents really love to scare each other.

We didn’t make it a full week with my toddlers back in school before one was home with a 103.5 degree fever. Parents of preschoolers really need a little more understanding from society. It is a tough time for everyone when there’s a new virus in the house every other week. #parenting

This is fascinating. We took our first cruise in five years this fall. It was a blast, but it is equally as manufactured as visiting a theme park or an all-inclusive. Some people still want that tourist experience where they can wander the streets and dip into local shops.
