• Go to therapy
• Don't put off doing something because it would take a long time to do it — "the time will pass anyway" is the saying
• Don't let perfection be the enemy of the good
• Figure out what your needs are, and don't waste time on partners who can't meet them

We probably don’t need to have this conversation but, “the biggest reason humans have such a large impact on the environment is that we want to provide a high standard of living for a very large population of people” is very different from “I want human population to crash.”
