Discovering the seat I booked at the theatre not only had no other seat next to it but was also on the same row as the desk so had a clear view. 10/10 will book again

First jigsaw of the year. Loving that the pieces come in a paper bag! Sustainable and aesthetically pleasing 😍

The Forsyte Saga at the Park Theatre: utterly compelling. Split into two parts, charting Irene and Fleur's story, this adaption eschews complex sets in favour of deep focus on nuanced characterisation. Fleur's interrogation of her family's history provides an inspired link between parts. #TheatreSky

Ballet Shoes by the National Theatre is incredible! I loved seeing a childhood favs on stage. The cast knocked it out of the park and the staging was gorgeous. It kept the main beats of the story but took time to explore characters in more depth. I laughed, cried & would 100% recommend.

If I had a penny for every time I've flown abroad for a work conference and landed the same day P!nk was performing in that city I'd have 2p but it's weird that it happened twice

Nye was absolutely phenomenal (as expected) and left me an emotional mess (also as expected!) so switched vibes up a bit today for a bit of punk rock and pigeons with Lizzie The Musical at Hope Mill Theatre. Utterly brilliant performance and still on for another week...

I LOVE that my town has a free bookshop 😍 Up to 3 books per person per day, donations appreciated but not required, no need for a membership. True open access to books. Loved how busy it was today, especially the children's section and managed to nab myself this little haul 💙📚
