But nothing could prepare the City for the greatest scandal of all: the Mayor and a Councilman going to France for a Sister City event. Even after Chapman clarified that the City didn't pay for the trip, many in the group were not satisfied.

There's plenty of threads that implicitly praise Trump, but the moment that anyone criticizes Trump, or compares him to the Cursed City Council, an army of BIBAers reacts badly.

In another thread about leafblowers there was a reference to the Sister City room in City Hall (that's the one on the first floor, I think, off the back lobby). Last year's Republican candidate for Council thought they were renaming City Hall, and poor Jol tried to respond reasonably.

The month started with Devon Runyan Wells getting mad about The Zebra posting something supportive of Ukraine... which The Zebra immediately pulled. Makes me wonder about Alexandria's "Good News" paper.
