Course Clinical Lead for the high intensity CBT PGDip over Keele and Staffordshire Universities. Accredited CBT therapist and frequent cyclist. Really big chap in real life.
Spent last night operating a massive Minotaur puppet. Not the strangest Saturday night I've ever had but it's in the top five.

My friend has moved to Oz from the UK. This means that the content of his messages largely have these kinds of images now.

1st time for all of us in Paris today. Truly wonderful and welcoming (and I'd been led to expect otherwise, especially on the latter part). Highly recommend the hop on/off boat taxi on the river.

6 years ago tomorrow, from the result of misjudged planning, I ended up traveling up to John O'groats alone on my birthday, ready for the start of an epic adventure.
We started 2 days later and in 10 after we were in Lands End having raised £3500 for the Combat Stress charity.

It's the treatment of Social Phobia day tomorrow for the Staffs Uni High Intensity PGDip, time to dig out these bad boys.
Purple Docs and band t-shirt complete the look, very stylish!

When you treat yourself to a new speaker and Amazon decides you need to do some gardening instead!

I wonder how long it took the driver to find something that weighed the same and fit the box.

Thrilled to finally receive my copy of the book I wrote a small piece of. It feels very strange though.

Congratulations to Jason Roscoe (who never transferred the stress of editing) and my fellow contributors. Hopefully it adds something useful and interesting to our field.

Treat your dogs well, they often do a lot of heavy lifting when you need them.

Meet the slightly unwilling star of the Staffordshire University HI-CBT Phobias teaching day. In the spirit of never encouraging individuals to do anything we'd not do ourselves, hats off to the arachnophobic trainees pushing themselves on the day.
