TAAP Edgedancer Episode 3 spoilers without context:
A poster for the 2025 Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. It shows Oscar Isaac from the back (which is fine with me), standing in a large, open, Certified Spookumsroom. There's a large round window, several Sciencey Tubes along the wall, and a large pit in the center of the room. The movie's tagline is "ONLY MONSTERS PLAY GOD," which is extra enough that I'm guessing it does in fact fit the vibes since it's del Toro. A....I actually don't know how to classify this image. A thumbnail? A graphic? A powerpoint slide? It's an image. Divided roughly in half, with text on the left-hand side and a picture on the right-hand side. The text, yellow against a black background, reads: "How Tall Was Jesus?" The picture is of two different Jesuses in a slightly cartoony style, one taller and holding a yardstick while Short King Jesus looks up at him to highlight the height difference. A screenshot of a tumblr post. It's a poll, with the question being: "which would you rather find living in your attic:" and the two options are "1000 roaches" and "a person". The response post is "this is truly on god the first would you rather that i've ever had to devote significant thought to. neither of these answers feel good." TAAP Edgedancer Episode 2 spoilers without context:
A screenshot of the loading screen for an Assassin's Creed game - it looks like ACII on first blush to me. It's an off-white background with some computer-y geometry in the background. There's black text that reads "Inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed, and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs." And with that disclaimer, we can clearly see that Assassin's Creed has never been problematic. Even a little bit. For sure. A promotional image for the British quiz show Mastermind. It shows a single uncomfortable looking chair sitting on a round dais with a giant M plastered in the center of it. Harsh industrial lighting shines down form above, and otherwise it kind of looks like a void. Honestly, this looks like the music video for The Arbiter. You know, the single released from the 1984 musical Chess about the Chess Referee that they made a music video for sung by Bjorn Skifs from Blue Swede. Sometimes these alt texts are just for me. A...cover? Promotional image? Some sort of graphic design for a song. There's a yellow background with a kind of wibbly grid behind a silhouetted man and woman dancing together. The band name at the top reads MEN WITHOUT HATS, and the song is of course called THE SAFETY DANCE. There's so much random stuff happening in this image, I'm fascinated. A screenshot from the show Billy on the Street. Billy Eichner is (naturally) slightly frantic and extremely intense as he waves a dollar in someone's facing screaming "Name a woman!" The person he's talking to is appropriately flummoxed by this. Honestly if this happened to me I think I would simply burst into tears on the spot.

Mark Hamill is in a military-esque uniform with a diagonal belt across his chest so you know it's series. He's got aviator sunglasses on and a hat. He's standing on top of a car with a particularly magnificent scowl on his face. I feel like Mark Hamill would give good hugs. The logo for the Chicago Bulls, but upside-down. Right-side-up, it's a fearsome scowling red bull with white horns against a red hombre background. Upside-down, it certainly does look like a robot fucking a crab. I can't argue with that. And unfortunately I think that robo design is really cute. A screenshot of a YouTube video. The video is by titled "Tribes Ascend - How to Ski Like a Boss." It shows gameplay of what appears to be an FPS, given the HUD elements around the corner of the screen and also the gun with which one would do some first person shooting. The person is staring down a big ole hill, gearing up to ski. Like a boss. A screenshot from SpongeBob. It's an extreme close-up on a patron inside the Krusty Krab, a dark green fish. All you can see in the frame is his wide, desperate eyes and comically wide open mouth. He is, of course, shouting "YOU WHAT"

TAAP Hope of Elantris and Grab Bag episode spoilers without context:

The one on the middle right on the other hand is staring directly into the camera with an expression like he knows the exact date and time of my death. A screenshot from the hit game Sonic 2. Sonic and Tails are running across a green field - I think they're in Green Hill Zone. A robot monkey is climbing a tree overhead and is almost certainly about to get wrecked by Sonic. And if not by Sonic, trusty sidekick Tails will probably try to get it, miss, and then get dragged away by the sidescrolling that follows Sonic. At least in my experience. The ten books are: Wizardology (I had this one), Pirateology (this one too), Egyptology (yep), Vampireology (I had a vampire book that was like a knockoff brand I think), Spyology (god I WISH I had this one), Mythology (yep), Monsterology (yep), Dragonology (the OG), Alienology (nope), and Oceanology (as a woman of the sea I'm surprised I didn't have this one). God I wish I still had these books, they truly hit. The cover of the 2-DISC COLLECTOR'S EDITION of the hit film The Incredibles. It shows the main cast of characters against an orange-red background. The core Incredibles family (Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack Parr) are framed nicely inside their Incredible superhero logo. Supporting characters (and icons) Frozone and Edna are kind of awkwardly at the bottom of the picture, looking supremely out of place. But what are you going to do, NOT include those two??

Either pitying or sympathetic. Either way I'm worried for myself. A screenshot from Assassin's Creed 3. He's perched on top of a cross (presumably on top of a church), with a waterside town in the background. There's a ship out on that lake. Sea. Ocean? Inlet. Water. It shows a still from the Harley Quinn animated series, with Harley making kind of a "are you kidding me??" pose at Batman, which is appropriate given the headline. I wonder if the author, Jennifer Bisset, ever thought this is the direction her career would head. By which I mean writing an article about the IMPORTANT STUFF DC how could you A poster for the anime One Piece. It shows the main cast of characters posed on the prow of a ship, with a sail emblazoned with the skull and crossbones in the background. The main character is perched on the figurehead, pointing toward the horizon, with four of his...friends? Family? Enemies? Fellow characters arranged around him. Should I put One Piece on my anime list? It's a list I get through.....extraordinarily slowly.
