7/10 - plot firmly operates at the optimal level of daftness, strong cheesiness in the romance, but loses points as the side characters don't add much to proceedings.

I haven't made any new Print & Play games for a while, but that's because I've been working on this little thing that just did amazingly in the Solitaire Print & Play Contest on BoardGameGeek!

The danger of building too many #Print&Play games at home is it teaches the kids how to make their own. So this weekend it was some basic K Pop Demon Hunters cards, made with the 7 year old to play Go Fish.

Time to open up a can of whoop-brass (Lancashire)

Fantasy Map Maker. A solo roll and draw game where it's all in the name. Played the new to me expansion of trying to draw a single continent over multiple play sheets. Found it a decent way to decompress in an evening, as long as you can accept drawing with whatever limited art skills you have

Bringing this old #PrintandPlay gem out tonight. Showing its age with the optimistic theme of using technology to save the world, rather rebuilding whatever's left of the world after we mess it all up!

Scythe is a great way to spend a Sunday evening! Between Scythe tonight and Root a couple weeks ago, that's two games I've heard loads about actually played for the first time.

Incredible production value on Scythe, and a solid game. But if you ask me which I'm more excited to try again? It's Root

Just enjoying looking at the PDFs and the artist (Dan Gartman) has knocked it out of the park. Not long until I'm crafting cards and crafting dramas.
