Tom Homan, Acting Director of ICE, implied last week that he would begin arresting mayors and governors who do not cooperate with their unconstitutional ICE plans. They just arrested Ras Baraka, Newark's Mayor. This cannot stand. This is a direct threat to any possibility of democracy.

If you weight 2024 imports by the 10%/"reciprocal" tariff amount announced last Wednesday (with China at 54%, Mexico/Canada at 0%), the total tariff rate would have been 21%. Today, with China at 125% and Mexico/Canada at 10% along with ~everybody else, the rate is 26%.

They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.
