I have no problem with 25-year-old DOGE apparatchik Marko Elez being fired. But Elon Musk has said things as bad as Mr. Elez, and more often and more consequentially. The DOGE fish rots from the head down.

it’s my strong belief that repetition and continuity are essential right now. members of congress not let into USAID today? go back tomorrow. keep going back and asking “what are you hiding?” until you get an answer. one press conference isn’t going to impress upon people how important this is.
